There are 38 Entries for the National Singles being held
this weekend in Dunedin.
PNZ have much pleasure in announcing the new men's National
Coach to be Andrew Mailei from Auckland. Andrew comes into
the position with a wealth of coaching experience in a
variety of sports and has a great deal of knowledge about
petanque having played the game for over 20 years. He has
also represented NZ in petanque himself. We look forward to
working with him and what he has to offer our sport.

Petanque Club will host the 2018 TransTasman Challenge on
the 17 and 18th March 2018. Their new club facilities
should be ideal for such a fantastic international event.
Petanque New Zealand wants to congratulate the following
players on their selection for the New Zealand teams to play
in the Oceania Championship in Christchurch in October 2017.
There were some very tough decisions to be made from a
great squad of players.
The Inaugural National Mixed Doubles was held in
Christchurch over the weekend, with the trophy being won by
Christine Strichen (Wanganui) and Michael Rocks (Bayview).
