Report from day one of TransTasman

Report from day one of TransTasman
18 Mar 2017

Whew what a day.   First transport left at 6.45am to go to the piste and it is now 5.30pm and everyone is back in the hotel hot and tired.   It's been 32 degrees most of the day and has now dropped to 30 degrees, so not much relief unless you are in the airconditioning.

Petanque wise it has been a day of mixed fortune on a very variable piste.   There has been some fantastic petanque played, but in the final telly up for the day the Aussies have their noses in front.   However it is a game of two halves and I have no doubt the Kiwis will dig deep and fight back.
