NZ Womens World Champs Team: Fundraising Triples Tournament

Sunday 14 September at Herne Bay Petanque Club. All petanque players are invited to participate in a fundraising tournament for the NZ Womens Team going to the Womens World Championships in Turkey......


Special General Meeting of PNZ

Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of Petanque New Zealand will be held at 9.30am on 14th September 2008, at the offices of Sport Wellington, 113 Adelaide Road, Wellington.

 

The purpose of the meeting is to vote on a Special Resolution to implement the changes to PNZ's Constitution relating to governance arrangements, agreed on at the 2008 AGM.

 

It is proposed to rescind the current Constitution and replace it in its entirety with the new one.

2008 Women's World Championships

Jane Gilbert has advised PNZ that, regretfully, due to changed family and work circumstances she is now unable to be part of the team to go to Turkey.

The team will thus comprise...................


2008 Peugeot National Singles Championships

Petanque New Zealand advises that this year's National Singles Championships will be held at the Alexandra Petanque Club on 11th & 12th October.

Alexandra is about 50 minutes.................


2008 Peugeot National Doubles Championship

Petanque New Zealand advises that this year's National Doubles Championships will be held at the Kapiti Petanque Club, Wellington, on 8th & 9th November.


2008 Wine Doubles Petanque Tournament

UK based Dave Ciano today announced that the prestigious fund raising petanque tournament, in aid of of the Auckland Down Syndrome Association (ADSA) and the New Zealand Down Syndrome Association (NZDSA), would this year be hosted by the Herne Bay Petanque Club, Auckland, on Sunday 16th November 2008................
