Representative Process Points System


Players can accrue a maximum of 800 points

Points earned from:

  • Individual skills assessment - regional assessment day

  • National Doubles Championship

  • Best finishing position in one of the following tournaments: Kapiti Doubles, Hawkes Bay Summer Doubles or Wanganui Triples

Open Group

A player's score in the Open Group will be made up from their total score in the skills assessment, their National Doubles Championship result and their best result from either the Kapiti Doubles, Hawkes Bay Summer Doubles or the Wanganui Triples.

 

Female Group

A player's score in the Female Group will be made up from their total score in the skills assessment and their best finishing position in the National Doubles Championship and one of the designated tournaments, relative to their peers.

 

Example:

Top female finishing position in the National Doubles is the Plate Final = 1st position for female = 120 points.

 

The top 12 players from each group will be invited to attend the assessment camp.

 

Points Allocation

  • Skills Day: Maximum 600 points

    This will involve 5 pointing and 5 shooting exercises, each worth 60 points

     

  • National Doubles Championship: Maximum 120 points

    1st = 120 points

    2nd = 100 points

    3rd & 4th = 80 points

    5th - 8th = 60 points

    9th - 16th = 40 points

     

  • Kapiti and Hawkes Bay Summer Doubles: Maximum 80 points

    1st = 80 points

    2nd = 70 points

    3rd & 4th = 60 points

    5th - 8th = 40 points

    9th - 16th = 20 points

     

  • Wanganui Triples: Maximum 80 points

    1st = 80 points

    2nd = 60 points

    3rd & 4th = 40 points

    5th - 8th = 20 points

The final points total will be made up of 50% of the points from the Skills Assessment, 30% of the points from the National Doubles Championship and 20% of the points from one of the other designated tournaments.
