Petanque New Zealand Player Ranking

The Player Ranking is based on results from the National Singles, Doubles & Triples Championships over two years. Points are awarded to players depending on where they finish in a tournament. The Ranking Points are determined by dividing the Total Points by the Number of Championships Entered. A player is required to enter a minimum of three National Championships to register on the Player Ranking. Ranking points are awarded as follows:

 

Trophy

1st = 24 points; 2nd = 22 points; 3rd = 20 points; 5th - 8th = 18 points; 9th - 16th = 16 points

Plate

1st = 14 points; 2nd = 12 points; 3rd - 8th = 10 points; 9th - 16th = 8 points

Bowl

1st = 6 points; 2nd = 4 points; Remainder = 2 points
